Clove Analytics LLC (“Clove”, “we”, “us”) is a Wyoming limited liability company that provides ad profitability analysis and related software to businesses. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit cloveanalytics.com, contact us, book a call, become a client, or use software we host.
This policy does not cover the personal data of our clients’ customers that we process on a client’s behalf. That processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement. See Section 9.
Information you provide. When you book a call, you provide your name, work email address, company or website, role, approximate advertising spend, and a message. When you correspond with us, we keep the correspondence. When you become a client, we collect the business and billing information needed to invoice you, such as company name, billing address, and tax identification number. Payment card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by us. When you use software we host, we collect your name, email address, and login details.
Information collected automatically. Our website uses cookieless, aggregate analytics that record page views, referrers, country, and device type without identifying you or tracking you across sites. Our hosting provider receives the technical data any web server does, such as IP address and browser type, to serve pages and protect against abuse. In software we host, we record login events, pages viewed, features used, and session recordings in which typed text and personal data are masked.
Calls. Video calls may be recorded and transcribed for note-taking. We say so at the start of a call.
We do not use personal information for advertising, sell it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering one; our legitimate interests in running, securing, and improving our business and services, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; your consent, where required, which you may withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations.
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf and on our instructions, each for the purpose stated:

We may also share information with professional advisers under confidentiality, where required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or safety, and with a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.
Clove is located in the United States, and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries. Where personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and, where applicable, the provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Enquiry and correspondence records are kept while relevant to the relationship and deleted on request. Client account and engagement records are kept for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. Invoices and payment records are kept for seven years for tax purposes. Call recordings are deleted once notes have been taken. Hosted software account data is kept until the account is closed.
We maintain technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, and access limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to access, correct, delete, or provide a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these are your rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email hello@cloveanalytics.com. We respond within 30 days and do not charge a fee. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
When a business engages Clove, we process personal data of that business’s customers on its instructions, as a processor. The business remains the controller. That processing, including the subprocessors involved, the security measures, and deletion, is governed by our Data Processing Agreement. If you are a customer of one of our clients and have a question about your data, please contact that business. We assist our clients in responding to such requests.
Clove does not set tracking cookies. Our website analytics work without cookies. Embedded scheduling and video players may set their own functional cookies when you use them. Software we host uses session cookies that are necessary for you to stay logged in.
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information we already hold, we will notify affected clients by email.
